This is an image of a class II dye penetration specimen. It was restored with Simplcity, Flow-it flowable composite (Pentron), and Vit-l-escence (Ultradent). Please note the absence of dye penetration either in the enamel or the dentin.

This is a dye penetration specimen restored with Simplicity, Filtek Flow(3M), and Z250(3M). Again, there is no dye penetration along any of the margins.
