Simplicity Instructions

For all procedures except bonding in posts:
Although it is not critical to the success of Simplicity, it is recommended that the preparation be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, and rinsed with water.
1. Dry the preparation of visible water for a couple of seconds. Do not dessicate the tooth.

2. Place a drop of Simplicity 1 into one cavity of the mixing well.

3. Using the red microtip apply Simplicity 1 and gently rub it into the prep for five seconds. Simplicity 1 is not dried.

4. Shake the bottle of Simplicity 2 and dispense a drop into the second cavity of the mixing well and with the blue ultra-brush tip place 3 brushfuls of Simplicity 2, dabbing them on the prep.

5. Dry thoroughly for about 5 seconds.

6. Apply two more brushfuls of Simplicity 2.

7. Dry the prep thoroughly again for 5 seconds. Be sure to evaporate all the solvent.

8. Light-cure the adhesive for 10 seconds. Simplicity may be light-activated with any type of light source.

*- A 0.5 mm layer of flowable composite is recommended on the floors of class I and class II restorations, as well as on the dentin in class V restorations. Published research demonstrates that the flowable composite improves adaptation of the regular composite resin to the cavity. (1-3)
